This was my first wedding at Jumby Bay since the reopening. Gina and Scott wanted a quiet beach wedding for 2. Their one request was a private candle light meal on the beach. The staff at Jumby Bay went all out. Tikki torches, blazing bonfire, the hammock stuffed with comfy bedding, private table service and a starry night. The 5 star service was more like 10 star. What a treat for this couple. Jumby Bay Resort is located on Long Island, only accessible by boat. A 10-15 min ferry ride from the main land and your vacation starts on a private island. My favourite spot for turtle watching in Antigua, nesting season finishes early Oct.
