We are behind on blogging. Digging through our archive I came across Chris and Karen’s Antigua Wedding held at The Tides located on the North side of the island. Beautiful spot for a wedding. Enjoy!
We didn’t plan for dramatic weather conditions but anything can happen when shooting outdoors. I shot this trash the dress session during a thunderstorm last November. The beach scene didn’t last long as the thunder and lightening rapidly rolled in over the southern coast. To be safe everyone took shelter in an abandon hotel and shooting continued there.
“Thank you SO MUCH Vanessa. We had an experience that we will cherish forever and you were such a pleasure to work with” Jasmine
Earlier this year we entered our first Fearless Photographer photo competition. Overall 4500 entries and 223 selected images. We made the cut. Our first fearless award To see our profile with the official award image click here
“Fearless Awards are photographs that excel in redefining wedding photography or are just darned amazing! We’re very picky – less than one out of ten images submitted are selected by our curators to be displayed in the photographers’ profiles as Fearless Awards.”
Adam from Kitescoop called me up earlier this year and proposed photographing the KiteScoop girls. To shoot a non-wedding related project was refreshing and the girls were loads of fun. When the time is right i’d actually like to pursue more lifestyle projects in the future. Here’s a little teaser from our sexy bikini shoot –
Last saturday the boys at KiteScoop launched the premier of Island Time, a video filmed and produced here in Antigua by Antiguans. Kiteboarders Andre Phillip, Jake Kelsick and Sam Light hang out in Antigua for a little – Island Time.
Happy I could shoot the Kite Scoop girls! Bet if you photographed my ass it wouldn’t look like this
Those that follow this blog know of our Trash the dress sessions from this perspective. If you’re new to this blog then have a look at Erin’s TTD, my first TTD shoot on a yacht. Liz loved the idea to and her images are here.
For fun Seumas got me into the harness and up I went. Here’s a quick snap from that day I feel reconnected and inspired.
