Not many people know this but Seumas’s nomadic lifestyle as a yachtsman is a good forecast to my availability as a photographer. Luckily, for all of us, the yacht is here for the Caribbean season so i’m on island shooting weddings. What happens next year when the yacht is based in Europe for 2013? We haven’t decided. There is a high possibility that during our busiest months In Anitgua, I will fly back and forth. Thank you all for your 2013 inquiries we are putting together a schedule. What month are you getting married? Feel free to let us know.
In the meantime, enjoy the view from Seumas’s world.

Arika + Van’s intimate wedding of 2. One of two weddings on 11.11.11. I favour Smaller weddings, no set schedules and more time for creativity. Except, when you have two weddings in one day but I enjoy a challenge
Arika was excited to Trash her dress immediately after the ceremony, the morning light was beautiful at Hermitage Bay and we made the most of it. I love the harsh shadows and Caribbean blues found in a morning wedding. Antigua is not shy of sunshine or beaches and with a hot couple, who could go wrong.
The tight schedules between events left us with just enough time to recharge. The Hermitage Bay team treated us like guests. Thanks for assisting!!

Seumas is sailing south to Antigua. His daily email reports of various weather conditions “rough seas and high winds overnight but nothing to severe. This evening calms to no wind and motoring again”. The last track shows his position to be south of Bermuda and half way to Antigua.
I love this time of year in Antigua. English Harbour is alive and filled with Mega Yachts, our friends and family.
I snapped this image August this year during our delivery to Nova Scotia, Canada. Always a happy man at sea.

St.Kitts is roughly 60 miles from Antigua just a short plane ride away. Last year, Sonya contacted me from Toronto to shoot her wedding in St.Kitts where she’s originally from.
The Beach House is nestled within the white sands of Turtle Beach and the island of Nevis, on the southeastern side, of the drumstick shaped island.
Sonya thought about every little detail and to date is the most organized bride i’ve ever met!! i was so amazed!!! Her thoughtful ways ensured that everyone was well looked after and the Beach House did an fab job to.
David truly found his perfect soul mate, their love for each other and their families made an emotional and meaningful ceremony. Thank you for asking me to be apart of this beautiful day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!

We powered out to Sandy Island, one of Anguilla’s offshore islands for Renata + Isao’s TTD session. Our captain mentioned Sandy Island had an abundance of coconut trees but over the years the landscape changed due to the passing of many Hurricanes. Either way, it was a treat to shoot at this location. Our quick return to the hotel, Renata and Isao made their final leap into the pool for one last shot. Too cute!! It was a short and sweet trip to Anguilla. Thank you everyone at Cap Juluca!

Experimenting with a bit of underwater photography. So hard to do with natural light!

The final leap!!
